17-year-old Roy Ng becomes the first Singapore schoolboy to throw beyond 60m in the javelin event

U18 javelin record Roy Ng

17-year-old Roy Ng continued his record breaking ways earlier at SA Performance Trial 2.

Held at Home of Athletics, representing Flash Athletic Club, Roy broke the U18 boys javelin record (700 grams).

His attempt of 61.79m, erased the old mark of 59.76m by Wang Tingjia (ASEAN School Games on 18-Sep-2017).
