A 33-strong Team Singapore juniors participated in 20 out of the total 22 events contested, except 3km & 5km walk, hauling 17 medals in total, 4 gold, 4 silver & 9 bronze.

Meets SEA Games qualifying mark – Pole Vault men, 4.60m, Lim Zi Qing Sean. Third time surpassing the SEA Games 4.50 qualifying mark. Has a season-best of 4.81m (25 Jun, SG U23/Open).

Meets SEA Games qualifying mark – 400m hurdles men (0.914m), 54.08s, Timothee Yap Jin Wei. Improved his prior SB of 54.80s (Apr, Nat Sch) & surpassed the SEA Games qualifying mark of 54.15s.

Meets SEA Games qualifying mark – 4x400m men, 3:18.47. The seventh time a Singapore team has gone below the SEA Games qualifying mark of 3:26.46s. The ASEAN Sch 4x400m team average age is 17-years-old.

Singapore has the honour of hosting the third edition of the ASEAN School Games this year, and our host country is pulling out the stops to make it one of the highlight sporting event of the year.

Track and Field in particular will be hosted at the Choa Chu Kang stadium. Mark your calendar on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July as you’ll be witness some of the top junior athletics action around this region.

You can obtain the tickets for FREE at least one day before each event at the MOE Co-Curricular Activities Branch reception counter at 21 Evans Road, on Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am to 6pm. Each member of the public can collect a maximum of 10 tickets, issued on a first-come-first-served basis.

All three sessions will be held in the afternoon session. The exact scheduling as below:
