Singapore top road running queen Anne Qi Hui was the Republic fastest finisher at the women only event of Great Eastern Women’s Run that was held yesterday.
The 32-year-old completed the half-marathon category (21.097494 kilometers) which was flagged off at the Float@Marina Bay in a time of 1 hour 27 minutes 13 seconds.
The elite category was won by Japanese Noriko Higuchi, her time was 1 hour 19 minutes 33 seconds.
Great Eastern Women’s Run 2012 is a women only competition commissioned by Great Eastern and organised by HiVelocity Events, is a run for every woman. The race features 5 km, 10 km as well as 21 km race distances making the run accessible to female runners of all levels.

1st – Noriko Higuchi (Japan) 1 hour 19 minutes 33 seconds
2nd – Yu-Hsuan Chen (Taiwan) 1 hour 24 minutes 0 seconds
3rd – Meri Mariana Paijo (Indonesia) 1 hour 24 minutes 26 seconds
