Team Singapore walkers comprised of J. Komathi, Serene Seah, R. Subra and Edmund Sim.

The Championships which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was a revival of the competition that the region had back in the 1980’s.

The event was reinitiated by S Govindaraju (IAAF Walk Judge) and our Malaysian counterparts at last year’s Asian Games.

Serene Seah and Edmund Sim finished third in the 3000m and 10,000m events respectively
