Calling all coaches & athletes – Submit your competitions requirement

Dear coaches and athletes we need your urgent attention and response. On Jan 24th we published in our SAA website (emails sent to coaches who are on our emailing list and also Facebook contacts to check the SAA website for more details) a list of competitions available for you and your athletes to compete and requested you to submit your competitions requirement by 31st Jan. We received only two requests so far.

This was especially for coaches who have potential athletes who might qualify this year for the National Senior, National Junior and National Youth Teams.

We also listed the terms and conditions for these competitions and asked you to pick the competitions you would like to be considered for. We will extend now the deadline till 29 February 2012 and hope you can let us know now. We will send as many of you – please study the terms and conditions. If you have any queries please contact James Wong, email or call him (James_Wong@singaporeathletics.org,sg, 63862721) for more details and he will try to clear your doubts.

The list was also for coaches and athletes who have hopes of making into one of the Teams. (study the terms and conditions as co-payment rules does applies if necessary)

Please attach a brief training & competition plan (from now till the last competition for this year) which should show the competitions you are aiming for and the Time Height Distance (THD) you are targeting and send it to Valerie or hakeem, or submit using the online form below.

We need to budget for these competitions now. Your planning for such competitions will help us and you to monitor your athletes progress. (That’s what we believe).

If you do not register (by Feb 29 2012) with us the competitions you want, we may not be able to accede to your last minute requests and we will take it that you and your athletes are not considering in competing any overseas meets in 2012 season.
