Help needed for underprivileged Youths to help in their home based learning journey

“Dear Team Singapore 🇸🇬 athletes,

I hope you are all doing fine and staying safe. I wanted to talk to you about a subject I know most of you are passionate about. Youths.

As you know home based learning starts this Wednesday for all students. I would like to highlight a reality that a small proportion of students do not have a computer at home, and this makes elearning difficult for them. Our colleagues at MOE and the various social services are doing their best to provide these devices to the students, and we can also help in this effort.

I believe you share the same beliefs as us; that every kid should be given an opportunity. This is our time to come together as One Team Singapore to ensure that we lend as much support as we can to our future.

Please help us by donating a second hand laptop or Ipad that is still in working order which you might not use anymore. Or maybe even loan us a device that you are not using at the moment. Or help us spread this message and get back to these numbers or email addresses below from other people who might want to help.

We are looking to raise at least 600 of these for the less privileged kids so that they can continue their learning journey during this difficult time.

These children are part of Team Singapore. And as a team, we should leave no one behind. I look forward to your favorable replies and donations.“
