Two activities offered by Singapore Athletics at National Stadium Open House are as below.
1. Athletics Team Challenge
-
To engage kids 5-12 years old in exploring and honing foundational skills associated with the various athletics events through a series of modified challenges designed to mimic the actual athletics events, for e.g. sprints & hurdles, long jump, and shot put.
Pre-registration closing date: 21 March, 2359hrs. Those who miss the pre-registration deadline can still walk in and sign up on the spot on 24th March 2018. Registration for walk-ins start from 3:30pm.
2. Tug of war

To educate public that tow is a disciplined team Sports and not a social or recreational game. The activities include rope training, endurance and power. Members of the public (both kids and adults) will be able to try tug of war and pull with the national tuggers.
