Option to Purchase Medical Insurance for Non-Carded Athletes
The Sports Medicine clinics in the restructured hospitals are capable of supporting the needs of the non-carded athletes. To help defray the cost of Sports Medicine services for non-carded athletes, NSAs are encouraged to purchase medical insurance for them. Zuellig Insurance Brokers Ltd is offering NSAs the option to purchase a separate personal accident insurance policy for non-carded athletes at a preferential group rate. NSAs are also encouraged to review their existing medical insurance policies for their non-carded athletes to ensure that they are adequately covered.
If you are interested to purchase this insurance policy for your non-carded athletes, please contact Ms Noorashikin Yahya, Zuellig Insurance Brokers Ltd. She is contactable at 6 510 3760 or by email at noorashikin@zib.com.sg.
There will be further opportunities to discuss the above and other initiatives from the SSI Sports Medicine Centre during the upcoming Sports Safety Seminar for NSAs. The seminar is tentatively scheduled on either 7th or 14th May from 9am to 11am. More details will be forwarded to you once they are confirmed. Dr. Cormac O’Muircheartaigh will be speaking on ‘Unsafe Practice and Sports Injury Prevention’ at the seminar.
