The Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued a series of health and travel advisories following the outbreak of the “Wuhan Coronavirus” in mainland China (See infographics from link below).

Singapore Athletics are advising athletes and coaches based on these advisories and any subsequent updates online at www.moh.gov.sg/2019-ncov-wuhan to defer all travel to mainland China until further notice as an added precaution.

Travellers should monitor their health closely for two weeks upon return to Singapore and seek medical attention promptly if they feel unwell.

You are also advised to advocate the practice of good personal hygiene at all times.

Athletes, coaches or training partners either based in or from China, should ensure that they register their travels with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs online (www.mfa.gov.sg/eRegister-my-trip) and link up with MFA’s mission in China if they are already there.

Singapore Athletics also advise athletes & coaches who are feeling unwell or have symptoms not to participate in SA competitions but to rest.
