Our national 4x100m relays boys are still chasing that IAAF World Championship qualifying mark of 39.20 seconds and they have a very good chance of doing so with the top notch teams participating in the upcoming 20th Asian Athletics Championships.
Held between 3-7th July in Pune, India, our relay team will be competing on Day 3 of the competition. The 4×100 metres men heats event will be held at 5:50pm local time.
Currently their season-best and current national record (pending SAA ratification) is 39.45 seconds held last May at the second-leg of the Asian Grand Prix.
All the best boys.
