Ng Chin Hui, Singapore most promising quarter-miler is on his way to Barcelona, Spain as he will set to compete at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships.
The 18-year-old met the qualifying mark last April at the SEA Youth Championships held in Singapore.
The junior clocked 47.92 seconds in the one-lap event.
With that he not only met the World Junior qualifying mark qualifying mark of 47.95 seconds but also earned himself into the record books as the new National Junior boys 400 metres record holder.
The 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships will be held from 10th to 15th July and Ng Chin Hui will be competing on Tuesday, 10 July at 6:05pm Barcelona time, or Wednesday, 11 July 12:05am in Singapore, as we are 6 hours ahead of Barcelona.
