Congratulation to Nur Izlyn (100m hurdles 0.762m girls) for her inclusion for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games, 16-28 August to be held at Nanjing, China.
SAA was informed by IAAF stating her qualification to take part in the Youth Olympic Games Nanjing 2014 via the unused quota places in athletics in Asia.
The 16-year-old finished third at the recent Asian Area Qualifier for the YOG in May, a bronze with an effort of 14.34 -0.2m/s (New Youth record), behind a Japanese & Chinese rival.
She will be the Republic sole representative in athletics in China.
