Invitation to 3 Months Countdown at Orchard Road

It’s 3 months to the 28th SEA Games where our Team Singapore athletes will be competing on home ground after 22 years!
Earlier this month, you would have received the invitation to join us at the OneTeamSG Rally on 7 March 2015 at Orchard Road’s “Pedestrian Night”.
Today, we would like to invite officials (including team managers and coaches) and athletes to join us in this meaningful event as we rally Singaporeans to show their support for our athletes as One Team Singapore.
In addition to getting up close and personal with members of the public as they pen down their well wishes for our athletes at the Team Singapore zone, you officials and athletes will also get to mingle with the crowd as they man and introduce the sports theme activities, engage the public with the launch of the first ever SEA Games digital game, “Nila’s Flame Quest”, and pass the largest Team Singapore flag down Orchard Road.
All family members and friends are welcome to join us on Orchard Road as well. Details as follow:

- (a) Introduction and Demonstration of race walking technique and drills by Coach Thiagaraja – invitation for public to join in
- (b) Demonstration of race walking by local elite walkers – male and female
Date: 7 March 2015 (Sat)
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Orchard Road (Paragon Section)
Dress code: Wear RED
Programme Time: 6.30pm to 9.30pm (Orchard Road)

The following is the line-up of stage programmes and community activities that will be taking place at OneTeamSG Rally. You may also refer to the below programme for your reference.

(c) Range of SEA Games activities including Make-a-Nila
(d) Stage performance by TS athletes competing in the 28th SEA Games
(e) “Torch Up” Project Launch
(f) Unfurling of Red Giant flag
(h) Launch of “Paint the Town Red” campaign
