Catholic High Ong Yan Zhi further improved the Boys Youth Best Performance in the hammer throw 5 kilogram event at the Singapore Junior Championships held earlier.
He added another 3.10 metres to the old mark of 21.20 metres set by himself at the SAA Track and Field Series 3 two weeks back.
The new mark now stands at 24.30 metres and is pending ratification by SAA.
