As part on an ongoing process to improve and elevate the standard of Track & Fields in Singapore, the SAA has appointed Pinnacle ProSports to professionally manage and market the men’s 4x100m Team to improve their chances of an even better performance compared to 2009 in this year’s SEA Games.

One of the long term goals of Pinnacle ProSports is to make sports a profession in Singapore by creating icons and celebrities using sportsmen and sportswomen. They will be presented to the public as sports entertainers and entertainers will be paid.

The team of Amirudin Jamal, Calvin Kang, Elfi Mustapa and Gary Yeo are being packaged with professionally prepared CVs, professionally taken photographs and thoroughly thought through marketing plans to elevate the runners’ public profile to enhance their marketability.

Choreographed events and media exposures will also be carried out. With improved marketability, it will in turn, contributes towards more success in obtaining cash sponsorships for the runners thus eliminating the financial worries that prematurely terminated many promising sports talents’ competitive careers.

On behalf of the runners, Pinnacle ProSports will conduct negotiations with sponsors, donors and event organisers to protect the interests of the runners, leaving the athletes worry-free from such issues and concentrate on their studies and sports.

Pinnacle ProSports is currently working closely with SAA and the coaches in matters pertaining to these four runners, they include finance assistance scheme, nutritional needs, long term developmental plan, mile-stone setting and also present and post competitive year career planning guidance and advice. Pinnacle ProSports will also assists to look for jobs for the athletes when the time arrives for the runners to step into the society to work.

Hopefully, some of these experienced athletes can turn towards having a professional career in the sports fraternity in the capacity of administrators, coaches, medical and psychological support crew, marketers, financiers and many other more specialised professions in sports.
