We are delighted to announce the official selection of our talented athletes to represent Team Singapore at the prestigious 19th Asian Games 2023. This highly anticipated event will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China later this year. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these exceptional athletes, whose unwavering commitment, dedication, and hard work have earned them a place on the team.

The Asian Games is renowned as a premier sporting event that brings together athletes from across Asia to compete in a wide range of disciplines. Athletics holds a significant place in the games, and Singapore has a rich history of participation in this esteemed event.

In the previous edition of the Asian Games held in Jakarta and Palembang in 2018, Singapore proudly fielded a team consisting of 8 athletes and 3 officials. Our team achieved notable successes, including reaching two semifinals, one finalist, and even setting a National Record. Building on these achievements, we are excited to announce that Singapore will be sending a contingent of 24 athletes to represent the nation in the upcoming edition in China.
