SAA Race Walk Judging Refresher Course cum Race Walking Evaluation Examination 2019

Singapore Athletics is conducting a race walking judging refresher course cum race walking evaluation examination for existing officials.

The aim of the course is twofold, firstly entice new SAA technical officials to attend the course and officiate at SAA walk events. Secondly, to give the existing walk judges an opportunity to refresh themselves with race walking judging skills and knowledge. To achieve the objectives, SAA technical officials will be invited to attend the refresher course cum race walking evaluation examination.

Course Date - Sunday, 3rd February 2019
Course Time - 9am - 1pm
Course Venue - SportsHub Premises (Exact venue will be confirmed through email)
Course Material - Candidates will use the IAAF Competition Rules & Race Walking - A Guide to Judging and Organising.
Course Fee - $5/- to cover food and printing materials expenses.

Format of Course & Evaluation Examination

0900 hrs - Conduct of the course – by S Govindaraju
1000 hrs - Commencement of Witten Test to be invigilated by R Muthuveran
1030 hrs - Commencement of Video examination by S Govindaraju & R Muthuveran
1200 hrs - Oral interview by Mr S Govindaraju & R Muthuveran
1300 hrs – End of the Course/Examination
