Objectives:

As a continuing education and development programme for race walking; to increase the pool of coaches with a better knowledge of race walking in Singapore; and to raise the standard of race walk coaching in the schools and Singapore in general.

Participants:

Anyone interested in race walking especially teachers and coaches involved in schools’ sports at all levels and in all schools, primary, secondary, A level, Poly and U.

Trainer: Mr. Thiagaraja s/o Sinasamy

Mr. Thiagaraja is an IAAF Level 4 certified race walk coach and an ex national walker himself having represented Singapore and the Singapore Police, one of the top race walking teams in Singapore in past years.

NOTE: Participants are requested to attend in sports gear including proper sports shoes
