Terms & Conditions
- All proper entries and unattached entry fees must reach us BEFORE the stipulated closing date
- All late entries WILL NOT be entertained
- Strictly NO changing of category and event once the start list is published
- SA will send an acknowledgement via email upon received of entries. Hence, please ensure that a valid email address is submitted in your entry form
- Kindly inform SA immediately if you do not receive any confirmation within 3 WORKING DAYS of your submission of entries.
- Only EXCEL (.XLS) file format entry form will be accepted
- Improper entry form data will not be accepted
- Athlete or team that are not under MOE school or affiliated to SAA will be consider as Unattached
- There will be no refund of entry fees for any withdrawal/ no-show/ poor weather condition after the closing date
- SA deserved the rights to final decision on all matters pertaining to the event
Notes
- Start list timings are to be used as guide only, athletes and team managers are responsible to check the reporting timing of their event and report to the call room accordingly.
- Start list is only available on first come first serve basis; alternatively it can be downloaded from https://www.singaporeathletics.org.sg/. Results can be viewed online at https://tnf.sg/
- Please collect the number tags from the SAA Administration Counter at the competition venue at least 60mins before the session;
- Protests concerning the results or conduct of the event shall be made 30 MINS within the official announcement/published of the result, Neither the Meet Manager nor Panel of Appeal shall entertain any protests that do not adhere to the given timing.
- Protest can be made orally to the referee by an athlete or team manager of the the team
- Appeals concerning the results or conduct of the event shall be made 30 MINS within the official announcement/published of the result. Neither the Meet Manager nor Panel of Appeal shall entertain any submitted appeals that do not adhere to the given timing.
- Appeal shall be in writing, signed by athlete, by team manager or person-in-charge accompanied by a deposit of USD$100.00 or equivalent, which will be forfeited if appeal is not allowed. If the appeal is upheld the deposit will be returned in full.
- TRACK EVENTS
- For any event to be conducted as scheduled, there must be at least 2 registered competitors.
- Should there be a number of events where there are less than 8 competitors and can be combined to fill up all 8 lanes, these events shall be combined and run simultaneously in the same race. However, the results of the respective events in question shall be filtered and tabulated separately.
- All competitors shall report to the Call Room Judges at least 30 MINS before the Start of each event; failure to do so shall automatically disqualify the athlete from participating in his/her event
- The competitor will not be allowed to compete if he/ she reports to the Starter directly without first reporting to the Call Room Judges.
- All track events shall be straight FINALS. In the event that there are more than 8 competitors / teams in any given event, the event shall become a TIMED FINALS. Athletes are allowed to compete in more than 1 event and some events are run as combined but results will be based on individual participant age group.
- For the 4x100m relay events, if 1 or more member of a relay team pulls out, replacements are allowed so long as the replacements are of the same gender, and at least of the same age (i.e. a younger aged replacement is allowed). Replacements shall be informed during reporting at the Call Room, and can only be enacted if approved by the Call Room Judges.
- FIELD EVENTS
- For any event to be conducted as scheduled, there must be at least 2 registered competitors.
- Long Jumps and Shot Put competitors shall report to the Field Judges at least 45 MINS before the Start of each event; failure to do so shall automatically disqualify the athlete from participating in his/her event
- Due to schedule constraints, field events of the same age group shall be conducted concurrently at their respective long jump and shot put pits, i.e. at every point in time, there shall be 4 field events running simultaneously, for e.g. the U9 boys and girls shot put and long jumps shall all commence at the same timing at 9:00am
- All competitors shall be given 3 jump/throw attempts and all attempts will be measured. For the High Jump, maximum of 16 participants for each gender and age group. Refer to Appendix C for the competition format, shot put weight and starting heights.
