3. SELECTION CRITERIA

    Qualifying window: For sanctioned races between 1 August 2016 to current day

    Please submit your interest by 21st May 2017.

    SA would send athletes who have qualified or are 5% off the SEA Games 3rd placing entry standard.

    Only Singapore citizen are nominated for this competition.

    Please adhere to the following selection policy and criteria set by SAA & Training & Selection committee:

    Please submit your interest to SA (SAA) once the overseas meet information is published and window is open.

    Please also only send us interest if you have met the selection criteria.

    Please also be reminded to strictly adhere to any stipulated closing date for submission for each meet.

4. CONDITIONS

    If the quota is not met based on the number of athletes selected and confirmed, any Singaporean Athlete who is 10% or less from the SEA Games Bronze mark, may be nominated.

    All such athletes will be ranked and the cut off will be the quota number.

    All other nominations would be on a case by case basis.

    All SA sanctioned competition results will be considered for nomination.

    All athletes who are nominated and selected will have to attend all team training or team briefing.

    SA reserves the right to drop any qualified Athlete if the Athlete is deemed unfit to perform at a competitive level.
