Wan Lay Chi has become the second Team Singapore athlete after sprinter Md. Elfi Mustapa to book her spot for the SEA Games.
She surpassed the 2011 SEA Games qualifying mark of 14.08 meters in the women’s shotput event at the 2011 SAA Track and Field Series 2 meet.

SAA has included new hurdles event in the upcoming 2011 SAA Track and Field Series 2. Below link is an enclosed ZIP file of the entry form, conditions, and schedule. For Hurdles Event, closing date for registration is Monday, 14 February 2011, 5.00pm.
Event Registration
Starting from SAA Track and Field Series 2, we are introducing electronic registration to ease the registration process. After the first registration, you will be able to use the saved database of your athletes’ particulars for future registration of SAA events.
For your convenience, we are still accepting the conventional manual registration via email.
Please be reminded that all entries are to reach Singapore Athletic Association before Friday 11th February 2011, 2.00pm.
Information relating to the submission of the registration can be found in the “Track and Field Series 2 – Conditions” document.
