Team Singapore athletes who have so far qualified:

  1. Zhang Guirong – Shot put women (Qualified at the 16th Asian Games, held on 26th November 2010. Finished 5th in the finals with an effort of 17.06m.
  2. Md. Elfi Mustapa – 100m men. (Qualified at the 15th ASEAN University Games, held on 18th December 2010. Finished 1st in the finals with a time of 10.59 seconds.
  3. Wan Lay Chi – Shot put women.

    1. Qualified at the SAA T&F Series 2, held on 20th February 2011 with an effort of 14.28m.

    2. Again qualified at Hong Kong Inter-City Athletics Championship 2011, held on 2nd July 2011 with an effort of 14.21m, winning Gold.

    3. Third time qualified at Singapore Open, 14.10m (21 Aug).

    4. Fourth time qualified at Asian Inter-City Athletics Meet, 14.13m (28 Aug).

  4. Sean Lim – Pole Vault men.

    First qualified at the 37th Singapore Junior Athletic Championships, held on 6th March 2011 with an effort of 4.50m.

    Qualified for the second time again at the 52nd National Inter School Track & Field Championships 2011, held on 18th April 2011 with an effort of 4.80m.

    Qualified for the third time at the 1st Singapore U23/Open Track & Field Championships 2011, held on 25th June 2011 with an effort of 4.81m. A new National, National Junior and U19 record too.

    Qualified for the fourth time at the 3rd ASEAN School Games 2011, held on 2nd July 2011 with an effort of 4.60m.

  5. Men 4x400m – The teams that managed to dip under the qualifying mark of 3:26.46.

    1. 26th March 2011 at SPH Relays Day 1, team RIJC clocked 3:24:40

    2. 3rd April 2011 at SAA T&F Series 3, national team clocked 3:19.99.

    3. 27th April 2011 at 52nd National Schools, RIJC & ACJC clocked 3:19.64 and 3:26.11 respectively.

    4. 8th May 2011 at Malacca Open, national team clocked 3:18.35.

    5. 27th May 2011 at Taiwan Open, national team clocked 3:15.09.

    6. 18th June 2011 at 6th Southeast Asian Junior 2011, junior team clocked 3:18.47.

    7. 4th July 2011 at 3rd ASEAN School Games 2011, junior team clocked 3:18.47.

    8. 21st August 2011 at Singapore Open 2011, national team clocked 3:24.55.

    9. 28th August 2011 at Asian Inter-City Athletics Meet, national team clocked 3:19.97.

  6. Md. Zaki bin Zapari – 400m hurdles (0.914m) men.

    First qualified at the Malacca Open, held on 14-15th May 2011 with a timing of 54.02 seconds.

    Qualified again at the Taiwan Open, held on 27th May 2011 with a timing of 53.59 seconds.

  7. Edwin Chong – Pole Vault men. (Qualified at the SAA T&F Series 4, held on 13th May 2011 with an effort of 4.50m.
  8. Mok Ying Ren – 5,000m men. (Qualified at the Tokai University Time Trials, held on 28th May 2011 with an timing of 14:51.09.
  9. James Wong – Discus (2kg) men. (Qualified at the SEA Games Throw Trials 2011, held on 29th June 2011 with an effort of 52.15 meters.
  10. Timothee Yap – 400m hurdles (0.914m) men. (Qualified at the 3rd ASEAN School Games 2011, held on 3rd July 2011 with an timing of 54.08 seconds.
  11. Chan, Sheng Yao – Pole Vault men. (Qualified at the SAA T&F Series 5, held on 16th July 2011 with an effort of 4.62m.
  12. Rachel Yang – Pole Vault women. (Qualified at the SAA T&F Series 5, held on 16th July 2011 with an effort of 3.82m.
