Please take note, this is by no means that the athlete has sealed their spots for the Games. They will be nominated by SAA and the final decision on selection will be made by SNOC.

Achieved 23.99 s(-0.3m/s) at Asian Jr C’ships to surpass 24.13s qualifying mark.
Zubin Percy MUNCHERJI (19yrs) – 400m men
Achieved 47.29s & 47.74s at Asian Jr C’ships to surpass 47.778s qualifying mark.
4x100m men team
Lee Cheng Wei, Md Naqib, Gary Yeo, Md Elfi, Calvin Kang
On four occasions (39.93s, 39.47s, 39.80s, 40.05s) surpassed the 40.15s qualifying mark.
Hannah Lee (23yrs) – Discus women
Achieved 44.49m, 43.95m, 42.94m & 42.00m on four occasions to surpass 41.02m qualifying mark.
Zhang, Gui Rong (37yrs) – Discus women
Achieved 41.14m to surpass 41.02m qualifying mark.
Md. Amirudin (28yrs) – 100m men
Achieved 10.55s (2.0m/s) at Unimap Perlis to equal 10.55s qualifying mark.
Soh Rui Yong (24yrs) – Marathon men
Achieved 2:26:01 at California Int. Marathon to surpass 2:30:30 qualifying mark.
Criteria for nomination
- All achievements should have taken place at SAA’s sanctioned Championships.
- Achievements from overseas championships have to be properly accredited and sanctioned to be accepted.
- Only legal windspeed accepted for nominations.
Note: Athletes or teams who do not meet the 3rd placing mark within the qualifying window, but fall within 10% off the mark will be considered for nomination. Final decision on selection will be made by SNOC.
