Two of Singapore athletes that competed at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Turkey, Istanbul did the nation proud.
Gary Yeo running the 60 metres men event, advanced to the semifinal, returning home with good results. 6.90 seconds in his heats and 6.93 seconds for the semis.
While 21-year-old Dipna Lim-Prasad improved her season-best in the women 60 metres hurdls. She ran 9.00 seconds in her preliminaries, cutting 0.25 seconds of her previous indoor outing timing.
