SAA is holding a SAA Pole Vault workshop. For interested participants, the details are as shown below:
Details
Fee: Free
Date: 5-7 November
Venue: ITE College East, 10 Simei Avenue, 486047
Time: Around 2-hours per session.
Workshop arrangement: A theory in the morning & a practical session in the afternoon. Participants are grouped into two groups the ‘Beginner’ & the ‘Advanced’ depending on their expertise and experience level in the field. Participants are allowed to join the ‘Advanced’ group when their ‘Beginner’ lesson are over.
Lecturer Profile
The workshop is conducted by Mr Brian Yokoyama who is currently the National Chairperson/Coach for team USA Track and Field High Performance/Development Men¹s and Women¹s Pole Vault.
He also coached and consulted with numerous Olympians, NCAA All-Americans and Record Holders.
In 2001, he was named the College National Pole Vault Coach of the Year by the USA Track and Field Pole Vault Development.
He has also been involved in large Event Management including management of the Mt. SAC Relays, Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, Footlocker West Regional Cross Country Championships, North American Pole Vault Association Championships, National Pole Vault Summit and various other special/large events.
The workshop will be covering both practical and theory in Pole Vaulting.
