Entry Standards and Entry Rules
For Singapore athletes: If there are no qualifiers by the deadline of registration, the SAA will decide on whether to send an athlete to fill the free quota.

Athletes younger than 16 years on 31 December 2014 (born in 1999 or later) cannot compete in any event.
These were approved by the IAAF Council in April 2013 – See Appendix D for details.
Calvin Kang nominated for the quota allocated by IAAF. Nomination based on his 6.80s performance at Asian Indoor which garnered by highest IAAF among the Singapore athletes that competed at Asian Indoor.
