Congratulations to Timothee Yap for being the tenth SEA Games qualifier for Team Singapore in the men’s 400m hurdles event (0.914m).

He achieved this feat with his scintillating 54.08 seconds run at the just concluded ASEAN School Games for athletics.

His effort is faster than the bronze SEA Games qualifying mark of 54.15 seconds set as a benchmark by the national body.

The 17-year-old improved his season and lifetime best of 54.80 seconds set earlier in April at the National School.
